The global e-commerce project provides on-line selection and purchase from a catalogue consisting of 100,000 + parts with, at peak trading periods 1000+ concurrent users. The scope included migrating away from a Broadvision based solution to a JBoss application utilizing EJB3, JMX and JBoss messaging running on a new Sun T2000 hardware infrastructure.
